First woman to become a Veterinarian
The first woman to become a veterinarian was Ried Isabelle Bruce (belle). She was born on december 21, 1883. She was the youngest out of all 10 children. Her family have owened a large property in Balwyn. Ried was educated at Genazzono Convent School. She was accomplished needle woman and had shown potential as soprano. She had wanted to keep studying with singing, which her parents found it unsutiable for a young girl.Ried had decided to start wanting to do something new which was to become a veterinarian, where her parents have supported her. She entered melobourne veterinary collage in 1902. Ried died on december 13, 1945, what reid had died from was from Coronary Thrombosis. I have chosen her because she was the first woman to become a Veterinarian, something I want be in the Future.
